In many countries, traditional customs are being lost. Why do you think is this happening? What schools and parents can do to stop it? Traditions are passed down to the generations, and now it would be our mission to preserve them thoroughly for the later descendants. Unfortunately, in some nations, these customs are about to fade. In the following, the real cause of this situation will be discussed, then offered some measures will be offered that must be taken into consideration to prevent that from happening. In the past, rituals shaped society so that each nation can could be distinguished from others without any further efforts. But, nowadays, due to the prevalence of media such as TV programs, or even the internet, traditions have overlapped widely and somehow cannot be separated. All the customs are more likely to unify in the new form of worldwide attitude which does not belong to any specific country. Take Christmas as a typical example, long ago, Christmas was specified only to Christians who celebrate Jesus's birthday, but now, thanks to the media, people despite their beliefs, are willing to celebrate this ceremony instead of their own traditions. However, the elders of society namely school teachers' schools or parents can take part in holding their ancestors’ 's customs by teaching them interestingly to the toddlers. In fact, the way of their teaching should be well-justified and seems logical and unforgettable to the audiences. The old methods must be shifted out and replaced by some of the modern technologies to interest the curious minds of children. For instance, they should included traditions in some games in order to capture children's attention. More importantly, parents can value the customs in front of youngsters as a role model in how children would look up to them. Teenagers would be impressed easily and it will be positive the chance to preserve rituals among the families. In conclusion, to save the nations' traditions and customs which are recently are less valued due to Media campaigns, some effective measures should be applied by the senior people.
