 Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the type of relationships people make?  Has this become a positive or negative development? In this day and time, with the high pace of life due to high-speed development of technology, people’s communication is effected affected as well. A meticulous look at various relationships shows that technology has accelerated the business communications while increased the stress as well and made long-distanced personal relationships virtually easy. The subject is a debatable one and this essay aims to scrutinize both the positive and negative sides of it. First, accelerating work speed in everyday tasks in the work environment is not deniable. By emergence of email and the Internet tremendous amounts of time is are saved due to paper bureaucracy omission. The stress, however, has become prominent in people’s life as the pace of communications goes up and faster responses are demanded. Second perspective, discusses the colossal benefit of the technology such as the Internet in people’s personal life. The Internet is like a miracle for those families who are living in long distance. Communicating through the Internet has made the world a small place. For example, previously without the development of the Internet, paper mails, air posts and later on the telephone were the only available communication tools for students who would go abroad. However, today technology has made an instanceinstant video connection possible. In the same scope, the Internet has brought adrawback for people who live near each other but are feeling lonely. It is a prevalent issue these days that overuse of the technology has drifted away family members. In conclusion, it is noted that technology has affected people’s life in business and on a personal levelways on the people’s life. and, it is reiterated that this controversial topic can have its merits and demerits from different perspectives.
