Rich countries should allow jobs for skilled and knowledgeable employees who are from poor countries These days, it seems that more people from less affluent countries tend to migrate to wealthier ones in search of work and better quality of life. While it could causes some problems in the long term, I personally believe this trend is indeed beneficial both to the worker and to the host country at large. First of all, it is an indisputable fact that the most serious consequences of the growing number of foreign workers are often felt in the host country. As a result of overcrowding, these countries are increasingly prone to environmental problems like air, water and noise pollution. Moreover, not only would the wealthier country deteriorate because of the environmental degradation, but also the developing country losting its knowledgeable workers may get less improvement economywise. Besides, due to the disparity between cultures and rules of different countries, newcomers would counter difficulties in term of integration into their adopted country. From my perspective, every individual should be provided the opportunity to prove him/herself. Dissatisfied with the working conditions and job salaries, many a youth man chooses to migrate for gaining more prosperity and well-being for the rest of his/her life. Admittedly, this trend would raise deleterious consequences especially in societal cohesion and environment maintenance, nevertheless it would be lauded for the economic prosperity and elite cooperation that it has brought to the host country. People who choose to be newcomers have benefited greatly from the facilities and well-paid jobs in their adopted country. Equally importantly, though, this trend foster mutual understanding and tolerance between different nations. By the way of conclusion, I once again restate my opinion that we should view this trend as opportunity for innovations and the discovery of more efficient and effective workplace. We can barely find a creative person without fulfilling his/her basic needs.
