Units of electricity by fuel source in Australia Units of electricity by fuel source in France The pie charts illustrate the electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.Overall,it can be clearly observed that units of electricity production by fuel source were different in both countries. In1980,in Australia ,the mostly units belonged to coal, it included half of units of production. However,in France , the coal was around a quarter of production.Oil and natural gas were 30 units in Australia ,but in France they were 45 units ,25 units for natural gas and 20 units for oil.In Australia, Fuel source used for hydro power …… 20 units , but in France ,was just 5 units. In addition, in 2000, Australia produced coal more than 1980,it was 130 units .However, in France ,unit of coal production was the same in both years .Also ,nuclear power was 15 units in 1980 ,but in 2000 was 126 , it can be seen that nuclear power increased a lot. All in all,coal and nuclear power grew a lot in 2000.Coal had increased in Australia, and nuclear power rose in France.
