Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extend do you agree with the statement? Today more than ever the communities which have been built by humans need to work together, for that order the need of transferring goods and products as long as individuals who travel across the cities and countries is a crucial factor. In order to respond to this unimaginable need of transporting, governments have invested huge amount of money on roads, and it seems like they might have forgotten all about the importance of railways. Scientists cites that if governments invest a sufficient amount of money on railway projects, not only will they reduce the traffic on roads but they will reduces the overall costs of transporting. As we all know unlike trucks which every single one of them has a driver and there are lots of maintenance affairs regarding their engines, a single long train which can load hundreds of times the weight of a single trucks only can need’s a diver ,and a conductor. On top of that it should not be forgotten that the maintenance of trains are much easier and cheaper. But there is a flip side to that coin; experts from countries which has an excellent railway systems argue that if the investment only and only had been on the railways, the consequences would not have been as satisfying as it would be if the investment would have been reasonably shared it between the two main transport systems. To conclude, our societies today face a great need of transporting and I believe that we only can successfully put this challenge behind us if we develop every potential in parallel.
