It is true that supermarkets are growing incrementally and also becoming popular among most of the citizens rapidly. Furthermore, their rapid expansion have has affected the whole pattern of the market. Opinions diverge on whether this trend will demolish local markets or does will not affect it them seriously. Some people argue that local markets are not going to be vanished since (they) have their own tradition on selecting specific commodities to sell,on at the other hand, aged people tend to shop from small markets which they have purchased at since past time and they have still remained loyal to them. So this the above-mentioned following reasons will help local businesses to revive survive through the enormous rise of supermarkets. Although this point of view belongs to least few people, there are strong grounds that should be considered as well. In from another point of view, extreme growth of supermarkets will topple the existence of local markets as the supermarkets provide people with more comfort area and also trustworthy shopping. Supermarket authorities have imposed strict rules about quality and prices so that shoppers find good quality products at reasonable prices. Moreover, they provide daily offers and discount to absorb more customers. Recently the idea about shopping has changed and turned into an entertainment which makes people happier. Because of this, supermarkets are magnificent places for people to spend quality time. For instance, there are a variety of researches which have been conducted in developed countries showinged that 90 percent of people prefer to purchase their needs from huge supermarkets. Considering all the facts above, it is rational to conclude that local markets will fade away after years. More people prefer purchasing their essentials from immense supermarkets since they provide a variety of products with better prices and offers.​
