In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion Some believe that it is better to spend the current budget on building railways instead of other forms of public transports like roads, between cities. In my opinion, I prefer to use our budget to construct the infrastructure/foundation for trains rather than roads. The first benefit of trains is that it they are is clean. Many of the Today's trains use electricity as their main fuel and electricity is the cleanest fuel which existsed. On the other hand, vehicles which are on roads use gasoline or gas as their fuel and these types of fuel are not clean. As a result, trains are more beneficial for our environment. The second advantage of building railway is that this kind of transportation is both faster and safer. The average speed of a bus which uses the road, is maximum 100 km/h. this average is even slower for trucks. However, we can reach anto average of more than 120 km/h with trains. Besides, the rate of accidents of trains are is so much lower than that of buses and trucks which makes this kind of transportation safer for us. Although we I mentioned some possibly sound reasons to use railways over roads, trains have some disadvantages too. One of these drawbacks is the cost of assembling the foundation of railway and maintaining it. Not only must we buy rails and hire many people to assemble them and buy as many locomotives and wagons as needed locomotives and wagons, but also we should hire many people to maintain our railways and trains and itwhich will cost a lot. All in all, not only are railways more secure and clean, but also they are swifter, hence the preference of using trains. Trains has have some disadvantages like the cost of building and maintaining them, so we should face this problem with a long-term and useful schedule.
