New technologies have changed the way children spend their free time. Do advantages of this outweigh disadvantages? In today's world, up-to-date technologies possess/play a key role in children's life. Although new technologies in the fields of teaching and learning have many benefits, in my opinion children should not spend their spare time with thatthem. On the one hand, according to most people, today's children are much more intelligent than the past and this issue originates from technological devices which are quite accessible. For this reason the power of analysis among children has been advanced. Furthermore, there are many applications and programs which are quite informative for children. For example, strategic games offer positive tips and it iswhich are educational for young players such as gaining several practical skills through playing games, enhancing problem-solving skills, fighting with problems and facing crucial occasions. Despite these said advantages, I believe that the downsides side of modern technological devices in children's leisure time is are more alarming/worrying. Nowadays, parents try to supply laptops, smart phones, play stations, x-boxes and much more besides via which their children be occupied in their spare time and be happy. Not only is this not a right attitude, but also this method could lead to deterioration in health of children. For instance, some children who are addicted to playing video games are not happy and they are dissociable and reticent persons, because they lack relationship with other people. Also sitting in front of the screen for several hours in succession might cause physical and mental problems such as eyesight problem, back bone diseases and depression. In conclusion, using modern technologies should be controlled because making keeping children entertained with technological devices long hours a day is detrimental.
