Every year thousands of students go overseas to study. Although many benefit from the experience, others go home disappointed. What are the benefits and drawbacks of studying in another country? Studying abroad has become very popular these days. Many students look for studying opportunities in high rank universities all around the world. There are some positive and negative aspects for such a decision. In one sideon the one hand, it could be a unique experience especially in for the youth. Many believe that studying in high ranked universities even in abroad, will help them find good prospect and high positioned jobs. Living alone without parents helps them shape their character to be more independent, self-confident and self-oriented. Encountering a vast variety of difficulties, will improve their creativity and decision making abilities. On the other sidehand, the main problem for of studying overseas is culture shock. For many of students, it is the first time away from home and they get homesick. They miss their family and friends and may find it hard to adapt with to a different culture and language. Another drawback is that studying overseas could be expensive. Not only are tuition fees for international students are higher than their native counterpartsdomestics, but also living costs will raise rise dramatically. Overall, in spite of the difficulties of studying in other countries, it is usually a positive experience which can lead to a promising life and future.
