These days many of us prefer to throw damaged things away, whereas in the past people used to repair damaged items and keep them for a long time.
Explain why you think this change has happened. What are the effects of this change in attitude? It is true that in the modern world people less hardly tend to repair their damaged items as before and they prefer decide to replace them with the new ones. I believe there are some principal factors which are leading them into this way and it would have obviously some severe influences on the environment. One of the main reasons why people prefer to neglect their out of order gadgets is the time. We are living in an era when the time is invaluable and irreplaceable for every individual. If they need to spend a lot of time fixing to fix an old product, they would rather to buy a new one in a shorter time just by two or three clicksing on a web site and get it by the free delivery service. So it is clearly reasonable to see they are choosing the second option. In addition, the cost of repairing the damage is typically high which persuades conduct them to take a look at the online new product list with the same or lower price. On the other hand, in developed countries, the companies play effective roles in encouraging to encourage people to purchase new products. They constantly try to meet their business targets by selling more products. For instance, they draw public attention via attractive advertisements in new technological devices with higher performance to inspire them to buy instead of fixing items. The effects of this process will be definitely on the environment/this approach will take its toll on the environment. The air pollution caused by factories is one example in great production .Furthermore, the factories would need a lot of raw materials and they will exploit all resources which is significantly harmful for the planet. There may not remain any natural resources for the next generations by excessive use of current resources. In conclusion, finding the old products in recycle bins is caused by the cost and the required time to fix the damaged and importantly the company's growth plans. It is clear that factories have to produce more new products and simultaneously more waste to the planet which is obviously harmful to earth.
