In some countries, many people do not have enough money to access the Internet. should governments be responsible for ensuring that everyone can get access to the internet? In the last decades, the Internet has changed the quality and quantity of information. Also the convenience and speed of this invention/the Internet helps people gain access to all sorts of information. Although the Internetit is a great tool for interacting around the world at a relatively low cost, its needs some expensive requires requirements like computers or even smart phones. For this reason, governments should take steps to ensure that anyone who wants to use the Internet can do so; otherwise, the gap between the rich and the poor grows wider. Since the Covid-19 pandemic in all over the world and the quarantine situations, people require the social world even more than before, and the Internet provides many learning opportunism opportunities and enables people to form communities in new and unique relationships. Unfortunately, we have seen that some poor areas in our country have been divested from of these facilities. In these areas, governments could subsidies subsidise the purchase of the equipment and the infrastructure so that people can visit Internet sites, and download information that their need. Children whose families lack the necessary equipment and connections at home are at a disadvantages compared to their wealthier counterparts/children whose families do. This means that the government should cover the cost of these kinds of facilities and even they could provide free of charges at school libraries’ and public libraries, especially for educational purposes.
