The exploration and development of safe alternatives to fossil fuels should be the most important global priority today. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Given that environmentally damaging resources such as fossil fuels regrettably have much of a role to play in aggravating the earth’s condition, most of the governments put their every effort into implementing efficient infrastructures so as to replace such sources with green energies. First and foremost, I opine that since the size of population has risen significantly in comparison with the past, more pollutants have been produced all over the world. It is an axiom that the use of fossil fuels causes carbon dioxide emission considerably which triggers greenhouse effect which in turn contributes to destructive phenomena such as global warming. Obviously, this issue negatively affects the ozone layer whereby our planet unfortunately becomes less protected. Furthermore, not only does the mentioned factor affect the humans, but rather also it has detrimental impacts on animals’ lives, particularly endangered species which are on the verge of extinction. Their habitat may be destroyed through the deforestation and also desertification. By and large, environmental researchers should keep abreast of state-of-the-art-technologies and techniques so as to alleviate the environmental degradation for our planet. For instance, my firm conviction is that only if governments invest in the development of renewable resources such as wind and solar power, will the critical condition of earth be ameliorated. Moreover, in terms of natural resources supply, our descendants also will be hopefully guaranteed through such infinite/renewable safe alternatives. Therefore, I strongly believe that effective measures must be taken quickly for the harmful problems mentioned in the previous paragraph. Consequently, as far as environmental issues are concerned, we have unfortunately faced a crucial crisis in this day and age owing to significant fossil fuels consumption, so from my standpoint, improvements inof exploitation of environmentally friendly resources is the global priority in his period of time and it is likely to pay off.
