Armin samarghandi 11:36 AM (1 minute ago) to R.vahdani Many museums and historical sites are mainly visited by tourists but not local people, why is this the case and what can be done to attract more local people to visit these places? A plethora of museums and ancient sites attract more foreign tourists than aboriginal indigenous people, which may be a matter of monetary issue, lack of attraction for indigenous persons and some other reasons that will be explained in this essay, as my point of view. Many factors in this issue are at play, . in the first place, museums are not economical for locals because of overpriced tickets, Albeit it cannot be true for foreigners. In the second place, some museums are not impressive for musuems locals aesthetically, while tourists may value the works that are introduced by historical value. Finally, another reason for this subject is, lack of fondness regarding history, culture or some such that sound reasonable for locals not to visit musuems museums as much as tourists.. To resolve this provocative important issue, the education system plays a key role in terms of educating students on history or culture to make them familiar with and interested in these subjects which eventually could lead to paying more visits to the museum by locals for the long haul. However, suppose we want to address this issue now or in the upcoming future. In that case, pertinent authorities should provide a couple of rewarding offers, including establishing a parking lot, discounts or reduction in museums’ ticket expenses, or even displaying museums’ works for nothing/free of charge to raise local ‘slocals’ interest in museums
