Increasing travels between countries enable people to learn different cultures or to increase tension between people from different countries? In this day and age, people are traveling much more than before, and this has led to many achievements besides a few disadvantages. Familiarizing with other cultures, travelers can bridge a seemingly unbridgeable gap between different people across the globe. While many argue this can widen the cultural differences, an overwhelming majority of people believe that the more international travels, the more mutual understanding amongst people across the globe. During the last couple of decades owing to the economic growth in many parts of the world, and thanks to the Internet and its practical solutions for economical travels, people from different social strata are traveling around the globe. This can provide for both guests and hosts with a chance to get a hands-on experience to understand other values, and learn how to respect people with a different culture. Only when individuals socialize in the real world can we expect a breakthrough in mutual respect and understanding. However, Sometimes these travels can increase tension between nations if cultural backgrounds have not been considered in advance. A typical example of this happened when a group of western tourists hit an angry bull in New Delhi. While this was interpreted as an unforgiven insult to local people, the tour leader guide described it simply as self-defense against the attacking bull. Another example happened in Islamabad when a British visitor walked inside a masque while she had her shoes on. A majority of local people consider such misunderstanding a severely obvious violation to of their values which can lead to racial hatred. To cut a long story short, though with the growth of travels a few more disputes between people have been observed, the advantage gained by this growth is an indisputable fact. The advocates of this otherwise perfect growing habit amongst people opine that not only can this growth lead to world peace, but it also is beneficial to lower local unrest in countries by teaching people to respect other believes beliefs and rights.
