Pollution of rivers, lakes and seas is a major concern for people who seek to protect the environment. What are the possible causes of water pollution, and what effects does this have on animal life and human society? Water pollution is a less- discussed form of pollution and one which have disastrous effects on the people and fauna. There seem to be some main causes and numbers of effects. Possibly the main cause is the industrial effluents, majority of Industries are situated along the bank of rivers such as paper industries for the requirement of enormous amount of water in manufacturing process and eventually the wastes containing chemicals are poured down into rivers. Another wellknown cause is human activities that can affect water pollution directly such as throwing sewage into rivers and ocean, using fertilizer and littering include glass and plastic into the water and indirect human effects on water pollution is by cars emission that causes air pollution and then acid rain which pollutes the environment and becomes a health problem for human and animals. The effects of this problem on biosphere is quiet serious. water contaminate can leads to detrimental effects on human health including poisoning of drinking ,famine or drought. Pollutants in the water such as lead are eaten by fish and the food chain continues to be disrupted and finally humans are affected by this process. Also water pollution makes the life of aquatic organism miserable by reducing the level of oxygen on it and they consequently dying due to the lack of oxygen. Overall, water pollution is dangerous for all life forms in this universe, . pollution of water leads to several illness for human and it causes the extinction of animals .To protect human beings and the ecosystem it is urgent to find out some solution for this problem..
