Agree Disagree Parents today are more involved in their children’s education than were parents in the past. Accompanied by nature or tutors or parents, children are always exposed to some learning situation in their life, which makes it hard to take a deterministic position toward the statement. By the way, I think it can be true in some ways but not all. As a matter of fact, parents today have fewer kids than their older counterparts today, at least in a largemost parts of this new world. Consequently, there remains more time divided between their charges which can give rise to a more specific attention in all aspects of these children’s life including education. Besides, the educational system in its new manner has been designed not only to teach children a considerable amount of learning material but also to have their parents involved with this process due to new modern educational theories. I can count the weekly projects, however simple, which my nephew takes home and asks my brother or his wife to help him with. Deeply thinking, on the other hand, it is actually a subjective choice to make give a proper definition of education. In fact, children were always home decades ago, spending the whole day with their families. Rarely, could you found find a child in his/herat five outside, from eight at in the morning to the almost the evening. Were they all passively free at home all day long? Obviously, they were getting their educating material, suitable for their day and age, from their parents, even if it was how to cook or how to do in the market. Unfortunately, it has been lost when it comes to the new life-style adapting adopted with by parents nowadays which does not befit a carful one. Had if they really cared about their kid's education, they would not fill their time almost all day with video games or television programs. Mottos in liberty or the amount of money spending spent on schools by these parents are just playing the supportive role to rationalize their selfish disposition toward their kids. In a nutshell, only when we develop a consensus on the education definition, will we be able to judge this very claim fairly. Of course, I think there are lots of parents who are trying their utmost to get more involved in their children's life especially that of education. However, it would be preposterous to compare the past and now this easyeasily.
