Some people argue that competitive sports are good for bringing together different people and cultures. Others argue that these sports can cause problems and increase conflict between nations. Discuss both points of views and give your own opinion. Every year various kinds of competitions take place all around the world, so a large number of people gather to participate in those. In spite of their merits which lead to people getting to know different cultures and places, some opine that these gatherings cause some troubles to sports men or even their fans. Olympic game is the best example of these events. Not only are they people attend in it due to rivalry, but also they become familiar with other cultures which have a great influence on people's attitude toward other nations. Therefore, governments of host countries establish incentives, especially to their nations to persuade them to show their original cultures in a proper way. From my point of view, competing is one of the aspects of this kind of event. In other words, only when we compete without prejudice, do we reach our goals and also competition is done in full and ethical terms. By contrast, opponents expose contentious issue that racing without a sense of competition is meaningless. They believe that while competitive sports are held, two nations are put against each other. Thus, this situation contributes to increasing conflicts between them. Many a competition leads to street clashes after or even during the game between the fans of two teams, especially fanatical ones. Because of the high intention taking along the games and the hatred/ enmity dominating the atmosphere in the stadium between the competition side's fans, international sports events often end up in chaos. In conclusion, that some think that sport events result in dispute between nations is both right and inevitable, but I opine that those should be conducted to deal with pestering global issues.
