Many people prefer to live in their own house, while others are prepared to live in rental properties. Discuss both views and give your own opinion and examples. People from all around world have various attitudes to the house where they want to live. Some people save money or try to get a mortgage for buying it and others spend on or invest their money on in other ways rather than real state and would rather to rent one. I, personally, prefer to buy my own home with a small garden, although spending money on other ways would be tempting. There are some people who argue that having a property especially a home will bring some financial benefits as well as satisfaction. In some countries or cities where demand for houses is high, buying a house can have some economic advantages for an individual or a family. Indeed, buying properties is a kind of business and even if you buy it by mortgages, you will have this chance to sell it with a considerable profit. Furthermore, those interested in owing a house usually are keen on customizing/remodeling their property. When you are a landlord, you will have this right to change your the indoor or outdoor design of your home according to your preferences albeit with by obeying some urban or rural laws and this freedom of action gives you a pleasant sense of self. On the other hand, some people believe that spending money on purchasing a home is futile. These people usually live in some locations where property values not only are stagnant but also sometimes decrease. In this condition, people prefer to rent a home and spend their money on other ways. For instance, they want to buy a better vehicle or spend money on travelling around the world. In addition, when you rent a property, you will not have to pay some specific taxes and some repairing and maintain maintenance costs. These costs sometimes would be quite expensive and by saving them, we can manage other important aspects of life like education or a pension plan. In conclusion, it seems that both sides of this argument have some logical reasons, and based on economic conditions or personal preferences these choices would be various.
