Writing Task 2 Q: Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. As believed by a majority of people, school is the only place that where children learn about science and social relation. To my understanding , it is not a correct approach since children are future of the society and everybody is responsible of for them. To begin with, it is true that children learn different field in science and social relations in schools. They learn how to communicate and respect to each other. This is an important skill that they will use it in future. However, they spend a limited time in the school and teachers are not able to follow each child separately and correct their mistake. However, children spend their main time in the home and parents are able to devote their time to children and teach them more. Last but not least, the school is a place that where children with the same age come together and take same courses and they learn how to cooperate with each other to do the homework. This skill helps them to be an open-minded and contractive person in the future. However, this is not a sufficient item to be a good member of society. The family is an organization that where children learn how to express their feelings each other .For instance, children learn the real meaning of love from the mother. According to “News Week” magazine’s survey, conducted in 2017, the rates of the crime are is relatively low in societies which have a warm and friendly family. To sum up, both the school and the family have profound effects in children’s personalities. Both of them are form infrastructures of the society.
