Some people believe that school should not make children to do homework every day. Others say homework at every age can help children to succeed at school. Discuss both views. People have different views about/as to whether children should be obliged to do homework on a daily basis or not. While practicing lessons which have been taught are an essential part of every education methodology, I argue we should not impose any overwhelming obligation on children in their free times. On the one hand, the time children spend on school seems quite inadequate for synthesizing all lessons. Teachers, ordinarily, just have enough time to educate some core subject principals. These lessons, however, are regularly too general/broad, and pupils need not only practicing but also constant repetition to deeply acquire these subjects. Revising all these lessons are is not practical in limited hours each teacher has. Students, if they intended to master these skills, should do many assignments, readings, and writings. Furthermore, whilst doing these tasks, children require absolute concentration, which is neither guaranteed nor provided in classrooms, in which they are surrounded by their peers. On the other hand, after spending many hours in school, children might become vigorously exhausted by all trainings and acquisition of new courses. Children regularly attend many classes on each school day; thus, by the time they leave school, it is understandably normal for them to want their wanting to enjoy a couple of hours of leisure time. If they were compelled to spend their evenings on studying, we would probably expose them to repulsion and resentment of education. It is fair to say children like adults can enjoy a period of mental refreshment and preparing for upcoming school days. In addition, these after school hours are the only time for children to rebound rebond with their parents and friends. They can, also, use these this free times to pursue either an extra-curriculum activity or a pastime such as learning an instrument or take up a sport, as children’s growth both physically and intellectually would be positively and profoundly be affected by those activities. In conclusion, I can understand why people might be in favor of obligatory homework, but it seems to me that we should let children enjoy their free times in order that they fill it with whatever they are keen on.
