Nowadays many people prefer to use their own cars to commute rather than buses and trains. Why do you think this is happening? What can the government do to change it? With the development of urbanization, it seemed seems that people would use public transport instead of their own cars, but it has completely turned out to be the opposite. The most important reason is because of the flaws of the public transport system. Moreover, it is incumbent on the government to provide appropriate ways to solve this problem. However, it is capital-intensive. In carefully designed cities, facilities are provided for citizens to have both comfortable and safe and most importantly fast travels, such as trains, especial buses and much more besides. In this way, people do not need to use their personal cars, because besides the friction depreciation of the car, they create traffic jams. On the other hand, in poorly designed transport systems, especially in developing countries, due to our weakness in some sectors of development/ due to thea lack of developments in some areas, such as transportation, individuals oblige to use private transport. First and foremost, the way to tackle the problem is investing in infrastructures. A case in point, construction of/building the subway even in the most remote parts of the city center or constructing comfortable/ suitable wagons or buses in terms of air conditioning or even seat. Last but not least, introducing laws against people who drive a single-seat passenger car. Moreover, imposing penalties is not only a deterrent, but also on some occasions, persuadesing people to use public transportation. In conclusion, to be honest, were I to choose the system for commuting, without doubt, I would rather choose my own car, due to saving time. It is worth mentioning, neither public nor private transport systems do not act completely without both the states and people's cooperation.
