Nowadays in every university students ought to study some useless subjects which are not really necessary. Some say that they should choose whatever they like to study while some other acclaim that they should study the useful subjects which are necessary for their future. This essay is focused on both ideas and their differences. I opine that, for some reasons it is not good appropriate that students study the subjects that they like. The reasons are as follows; first of all, they might not be able to choose the right and suitable subject hence due to their youth and inexperience. Second, some of them may not have any favorite subject, so they will not choose any. Consequently, this cannot be appropriate to let them choose whatever they like. Additionally, it seems that studying the subjects which are useful can have some important benefits like improving the efficiency of the students and increasing the studying-hours of them. However, these subjects should not be just technological and scientific ones. It is better for them to read every subject whether relevant to their major or not. On the other hand, the pundits assume that studying other subjects during their university can lead to some time-wasting processes. As they acclaim, in this way pupils may have not enough time to spend on their own major, papers and even the researches, causing them low learning-quality. Although all the pundits do not agree with this idea, it can be somehow true. In this case university-administrators should adopt the needed major to make their students' study better and better. In conclusion, it is clear that university students should study different subjects during their bachelor program but the point is choosing the suitable subject. The more they readstudy, the more they get educated. The hope is that universities take the right decisions about this matter.
