Tourism is becoming increasingly important as a source of revenue to many countries but its disadvantages should not be overlooked. What are some of the problems of tourism? Tourism brings money in many countries, it is becoming very important in the economic development of a country. However, it has many drawbacks which cannot be ignored. This essay will discuss this subject. Tourism has caused major problems such as not prevising preserving their culture and disturb the cultural values of a country. For example, people try to copy the lifestyle of tourists, thinking it's very good/beneficial to adapt to the modern way of life but they neglect their own culture. Moreover, they destroy the natural ecosystem when people go to another country,. they may drop litter in the environment and it leadsleading to pollutione there which poses result in a lot of diseases for local people and animals. Tourism also gives rise to overcrowding and increased traffic flows which leads to air pollution. All of these issues impact the environment negatively. Tourism provides seasonal jobs for people who only work during the time that/when tourists come to their country in especial seasons. For example, one of the beautiful countries on in the world is Netherlands that itswhose weather is very nice/pleasant/balmy in spring season and they have pretty, beautiful flowers in this especial time and people go there in this time, and most people have a job during spring, and when it is off peak season the local economy in Netherlands could really suffer. In conclusion, tourism does bring in revenue to a country, whereas . However, we should also take problems into account, and create awareness about to these issues. We have encountered problems which tourism created for us such as environmental impacts and employment issues that arise from seasonal work. Governments need to propose solutions to diminish the negative effects of tourism, and therefore, they can introduce laws for more control.
