The exploration and development of safe alternatives to fossil fuels should be the most important global priority today. To what extent do you agree or disagree? The world is becoming extremely dependentd on fossil fuels. While more countries develop their industries, the scale of their use continues to grow, and there have appeared different problems related to the extraction and usage of such fuels. First and foremost, the main reason why the alternative energy sources are needed to be in priority is global warming. A clear example is, factories burn gases and coals which whose fume is released into the atmosphere then leads to the air pollution. and AS as a consequence of pollution, the world runs into difficulties such as disappearance/depletion of the Ozone layer and emergence of many health problems, such as lung and heart diseases. Secondly, some countries already use renewable energy sources for instance, wind, solar farm or water power. It seems that there has not been any investment in developing these technologies in order to make making them available for all. Many argue that it should be a global priority to invest in such research and development lest pollution poses major problems. On the other hand, there are other global priorities that we also need to deal with/approach namely, poverty and disease. All these issues are global rather than national ones. However, in terms of energy sources there is a sense of that time is ticking away for our planet and any solution for this case will takes time to achieve results. By way of conclusion, I opine that finding alternative energy sources in spite of instead of fossil fuels due to the aforementioned reasons should be one of the most pressing prioritiesy if not the most important one.
