Nowadays many countries are facing the problem of heavy traffic and congestion. Describe the situation in your home country and suggest some solutions. Many countries especially in their bigger cities encountered the problem of heavy traffic which is the result of remarkable increase in the of population who which try to use (private transport) personal cars for transportation. The demand of using the private transportation method has been on the a rise during last two decades. People who have no access to public transportation tend to travel using their own vehicle. They might not be aware of the consequences of their actions, inasmuch as they prefer to use their own cars although they know a considerable portion of their time will be wasted in traffic jams every time they commute to work. Not only do they mention the limited number of public transportation means in their neighborhood as the most more important reason of such an act, but also they point out the inconvenience of these facilities as they are crowded because they lack in number. Besides, many people who live in suburbs of mega cities have complaints about the management of, for example bus routes/lines in the field of planning their start and end point as well as where their stations are located. Critics consider numerous methods to address this problem such as making public transportation spread all around big cities so that people become convinced to use this type of transportation instead of using their personal cars. In addition, it is the responsibility of the authorities to invest more money in the field of transportation infrastructures so that such means of passenger transporting become more accessible and popular among the bigger portion of the community. Furthermore, there should be advertisements to persuade car owners to abandon their habit of using their cars especially singular-passenger to diminish the rate of traffic/crowdedness on the streets and highways. To conclude, as a consequence of having lower access levels to public means of transportation and lower rates of awareness about the undesirable results of using private vehicles, people tend to use their own cars in daily transportation, and this leads leading to increasinge the rate of traffic in our country. Therefore, some actions such as preparing more public transportation ways besides awakening people of the adverse effects of their unpleasant habit of using private transportation might be the solution to decrease the unbearable rate of congestion.Hossein Talebi
