Task: some people say that cities are a better place for children to grow up in, while others believe countryside is the right choice. Discuss both views, give your own opinion and examples. Nowadays, people are more eager to live in urban areas, since they believe that this is the right place for nurturing their children, while others assert that the rural areas are more beneficial for growing up raising the children. From my point of view living in cities Is is a better choice for nurturing/bringing up/raising up children. Firstly, some claim that bringing up a child needs some primary/basic facilities and amenities which are easily in hand in cities. For instance, access to modern pedagogical centers and attending in extracurricular extra curriculum programs can be done easily in cities. In addition, because of the urban areas's lifestyle, the social skills of adolescents hone hole well. Besides the advantages of cities, there are some drawbacks in mega cities such as the high rate of felony and air pollution due to cars's harmful emissions which will be a threat to the individuals' adolescents' future and health. Secondly, Others, however, believe that the first issue regarding to children's nurturing is their health issue. Pollution in the country is quite less than that in cities, so children are more healthier in comparison with those in urban areas 's adolescents. On the one hand, due to the life style in countryside children are required to sharp their practical skills which can be useful for their future life. For example, they are required to know about gardening and housekeeping,. also they are more careful about the nature and animals since they are a part of their life. Nevertheless, living in rural areas has its own drawbacks. For instance, access to modern and well‐equipped medical centers is limited which is a must for caring for/ bringing up a child. Also in some remote areas there is not a qualified educational center or educated tutors. In conclusion, I believe that although living in the countryside has its own benefits, cities are a best choice for raising up children and its advantages outweigh its drawback.
