As populations grow and cities become more crowded, there is pressure throughout the world to construct ever‐taller building to provide accommodation and offices. Many people object to such developments, citing the social as well as the physical dangers. What benefits do skyscrapers bring? Do you agree with the objections to skyscrapers? Along thoughout history humans have been trying to provide the best accommodation based on their needs for themselves. Since the twentieth century this first demand has turned became space into the first reason for building upward. Hence, skyscrapers nowadays now a day not only are not considered a new phenomenon, but also they are the irreplaceable part of each mega city and competition between cities for achieving the title of the tallest, most gorgeous and the most modern one is a controversial issue which shows the importance and benefit of them. Industrial revolution paved the way for cities to become over populated, and factories absorbed workers to cities, and towns turned to cities, hence space became a the matter of concern both for accommodation and town expansion, and therefore, the solution was found in upward buildings, which progressed to becominge skyscrapers. Allocating much less space, much easier and cheaper conditions to live in, comparing to the countryside and sideways. Moreover, to this, new ideas in both architectural and facilities used in each of them has became the matter of competition and fame. For instance, in most cities towers are the symbol of them like twin towers in Kuala Lumpur and Burj Al Arab in Dubaiy. The Other side of the coin is the danger of physical hazards at disaster times such as earthquakes and fires or even electricity cutoffs, because of the inaccessible accessless conditions there is a little chance for rescue comparing to flats or houses but when it comes to level of power consumption the story is vise vice versa. Statistics lend support to the fact that for each unit unites in skyscraper electricity usage is 18 times more than that of houses or flats. However, newly built towers are capable of to providinge their needed power without support of central power stations. All in all, there is no way to return to sideways, sky scrapers are an inseparable part of almost every mega city around the world, if there are havocs, humans who are intelligent to build them are wise enough to find solutions.
