Most people think that universities should provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. Others think that the true function of a university should be to give access to knowledge for its own sake, regardless of whether the course is useful to an employer. What, in your opinion, should be the main function of a university? Some people say that universities should equip raise students with professional skills having abilities to work in their field. Others argue that universities are science only places and must only do their scientific fundamental researches and do not work as a skill training unit, but on which topic should they should do researches if they don't have a demand from society? During the past centuries, universities have been the core of highly educated people's training centers and people who are pioneers of their career in societies are graduated at prestigious/top universities and tried to apply their skills developed with the help of their professors. Basically, succeedfuled experts are those who are still connected to their teachers yet. Most of the universityies' teachers are working in crucial positions at ministries, companies or other organizations, then most of the important workplaces are managed by academic people and their own students can better do their orders. It has been shown shows that academic and professional places are tied together and complete each other. Although however, in third world countries this these ties are mostly broken. Because of enormous costs of research and long term activities are needed, most of organizations and companies cannot perform their necessary researches and need to connect with an academic center, then graduates d employees can easily make/establish this connection or in some cases they can perform the research themselves with a university connectionjoint. Furthermore, students improve their academic skills at the university and if they have no information about their future job and its necessities, how can they can get ready to accept the job and do it well? Most jobs need soft‐ware skills and awareness of specifications, codes and relations to qualify it and workers should learn those at the university. Consequently, universities and workplaces are tied together and skills which we take at the college are the base of our qualification qualifying for a job and each science must be applied somewhere.
