The ease of international travel and the spread of various kinds of mass media all over the world have made it more possible than ever for people to know how other people live in other countries. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? In this day and age, an increase in numbers frequency of traveling abroad together with the international media improvement have provided major infrastructures by which everyone can achieve valuable information about foreign countries ,even though this issue may have some disadvantages . First and foremost, I opine that satisfactory/close/friendly relations among countries have much of role to play in boosting the international travel. In other words, this advantage brings about globalization which in turn leads to recognizing a various array of cultures, traditions and economies all over the world. From a social standpoint, people with different conventions will be more familiar with each other through holidaymaking industry enhancement. In economic terms, my firm conviction is not only can individuals identify a variety of attitudes of a multitude of governments but also they can be able to broaden their horizons for their future life. Besides, state-of-the-art technology has led to providing the quality mass media all over the world. Therefore, in terms of facilities, people are able to access up-to-date information through the mass media, irrespective withoutof any fees for traveling. Although tourists can obtain precious experience about the factors mentioned in previous paragraph, everyone can completely benefit from the different types of media such as the internet or satellite programs so as to raise their awareness in life. However, some groups of people argue that downsides of such measures cannot be denied. For instance, advancing the knowledge in these fields may negatively affect the people particularly the youth to feel discriminated against. In fact, the inhabitants of countries with a relatively lower economic status and poor life standard level are more prone to be influenced on the grounds that they compare their conditions with their counterparts living in well-off countries. Consequently, I strongly believe only if people increase their awareness of cultural and economic diversity from plentiful parts of the world, will their mindset be positively affected in order to create better opportunities in life. By and large, I think the mentioned factors and life satisfaction are not mutually exclusive, meanwhile they can drive anybody to create better situations in their lives.
