Many people find it difficult to speak in front of and to present to an audience. It is believed that this skill should be taught in school. Why is this important? To what extent do you agree or disagree with it? The importance of having the ability to present ourselves and our opinions in front of others is of paramount significance. There has been much discussion revolving around whether this should be a mandatory part of schools' curriculum or not. Since this capability has many advantages for pupils’ ’s future, it is better to learn it in school. The ability to speak in public is a skill which has a great impact on a people’s life. To start with, by presenting confidently people can demonstrate their knowledge to others and leave a profound impression on them. That those who can speak confidently in public and show their competencies to others will gain more attention in their professional life is an undeniable fact. That is to say, they stick to their managers’ mind and will get promoted more likely. Moreover, speaking is a means of communication which facilitates interacting with others and expanding individuals' social circle. Many a person suffers from the inability to overcome stress and speak in front of others, thereby being in solitude. The educating education system can provide an ideal opportunity for children to hone the skill of giving a speech to an audience. Children are less likely to be stressful in social situations since they are not that obsessive about other's others’ judgment. The lack of stress for speaking in front of others will help them to be more self-confident and overcome its difficulties. Giving lectures for example as a classroom assignment to other peers, students would learn how to control unwanted distractions and have self-control under pressure. I remember myself being painfully shy in at school and hesitate to utter words with everybody except my close friends and my family, and the first time I had to lecture in class was one of my worst nightmares but after two or three lectures times/practices/occasions I became accustomed to it. In conclusion, how to speak confidently in front of others is a must-learnt skill which will influence one’s person’s whole life. It is better to start the acquisition of it from schools since children can be master it more easily..
