Some people think it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good parent. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent. There is a some doubt as to whether schools should hold classes about parental skills for pupils or it is unnecessary for them. Personally, although I agree that schools should be responsible for educating students to be a good parent, parental lessons should not be too much and boring and takes a little time of them. Nowadays, young persons are struggling to find a good job which has a good salary, so they want to go school and university and become an expert. It is undoubtable that the first priority of schools should be teaching individual lessons to students by which they can find a better job and social position. However, general knowledge such as parental, communication and social skills are important too. For instance, if you have a great and well-paying job while you are not able to be a good father/mother for your children due to lack of your parental skill, it would be a big problem. So your children may face a lot of serious problems not only physical but also mental problems. Therefore, governments should force schools to have these lessons. On the other hand, parental courses should not be too much. If the number of lessons are high, it would be boring and pupils would have no time for other important courses. According tofrom my viewpoint, there are some skills which make a person a good parent. First and foremost is how they can be patient. Secondly, they need to learn how to be responsible for their children. Last but not least, they should gain some skills about how they can raise their baby, how they can feed a baby and how they can take care of their baby. In conclusion, even though schools should focus on teaching young generation to have better jobs, also teaching them to be a good parent is important.
