(Government or private schools in your home country or overseas. This does not have reference to Language schools such as ECC, Inlingua etc.) 5 years 4. What subjects other than Language would you feel confident in teaching? I have been informed that Thailand values education including English as a second language and I can therefore have the opportunity to advance my career as a teacher. 8. Have you ever lived overseas before? How do you envisage coping with a big metropolitan city where English is not widely used and the culture and ways of doing things is different? Are you ready for traffic jams, pollution, heat, communication difficulties, frustration and adventure? Coming from Tehran, a metropolis, I am quite used to traffic and pollution as well as the other related challenges. Besides, I lived in Istanbul for 3 months, which had similar conditions. I am enthusiastic about discovering new cultures so I am undeterred by the challenges in the way. 9. One cannot be called a teacher without those qualities.
