Some people warn that the era of silver screen is coming to an end . do you agree or disagree ? It is evident that watching a movie in cinema is now a leisure activity for most people . However, there a handful of people who argue that people will soon spend less time in cinemas and lose interests in them which I totally disagree with. There are several factors why I do not think that cinema will soon become outdated . To begin , in the twenty-first century cinemas are the place for people to spend time with their family and friends . It is not surprising that today a new way of socializing for youngsters is cinema . They watch a movie with their friends and they share their thoughts and leave comments which indirectly opens up a path to understand their peers better . As a result, it is not uncommon to see young people especially teenagers going to cinema in holidays. Moreover, though there are numerous ways of downloading a movie or Blue-ray discs and DVDs to watch a movie at home, most people still prefer to watch a movie on big screens with the best sound quality . A new research was conducted in Columbia lately which says in general, people find watching movies at home boring since it is more delightful to especially watch a sci-fi or a comedy with others . In conclusion , I do not believe in the argument that people will lose interests in cinemas as there are is a growing body of evidences which suggests that it is even an increasing trend to go to the cinema . I believe with the new technologies like master sound quality , cinema will continue to flourish/thrive more and more in the future .
