Some people say that education system is the only critical factor to in the development of a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Without any doubt, education is one of the key factors of development, and only a well-educated nation could thrive for excellence and ultimate development. Despite the fact that the education system has a crucial role in the development process of a country, there are other essential factors which are in an obvious correlation. The following paragraphs will discuss the importance of symmetric growth of the factors and how advancement in a single factor would not lead to a desirable result. First and foremost, the education system is considered to be the backbone of a nation and obviously it is quite obvious that education system of a country plays a significant role in the overall development of a country. Most of the developed countries have well-educated citizens and admirable education systems which represent the importance of the education system for the development of a country. However, there are countries like Iran which takes advantage of a great number of educated youths and sufficient education infrastructures, and still suffering from poverty, economic inflationary recession and struggling to supply its people’s basic needs. This indicates that an efficient education system in a country, by itself own/per se could not be considered as development. Furthermore, development of a county would be achieved by the symmetric growth in many crucial factors such as safety, international relationship, freedom of speech and thought, better utilization of internal resources and high standard lifestyle and so otherson. To cite an example, many middleeastern countries recently have had immense growth in the economic aspect and yet their citizens suffer from deficiency of democracy in their leadership. Whilst they have experienced a great progress in some factors, they would not be recognized as a developed country. In conclusion, I believe that a better education system along with a democratic way of leadership, international trade and relationships, a high-standard lifestyle, utilization of internal resources and many other crucial factors are in a direct correlation in the development process of a country. Thus, there are no short-cuts to success, . they have to take the long road or they will hit a dead-end.
