Some people think that the teenage years are the happiest times of most people’s lives, others think that adult life brings more happiness, in spite of greater responsibilities. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. People have different views about the most joyful period of a human’s lifespan. There is a group who believe that adolescence is the most cheerful time in everyone’s lifetime whereas others think that adulthood is the most pleasing time. Although both views could be correct to some extent, I would argue that adult life’s activities are more intriguing and as a result it brings more happiness. Teenagers are likely to have much more free time to allocate to activities which are prevalent among their peers. For instance, an adolescent is able to play video games for hours and focus on nothing but accomplishing the mission with a high score in order to share it on a social media without getting worried about anything except the mobile phone’s battery status. Moreover, they commonly are supported by their parents, both financially and spiritually. Regarding to that, they are so dependent to their families which makes them vulnerable either emotionally or physically. An adult, on the other hand, might not have as much free time as a teenager. However, as long as they have the financial independency and the ability to outline a clear mindset, they have more freedom than an adolescent. An adult has usually came to a realization and has chosen the right objectives for their future and to attain those goals, they plan and pursuit it. It is true that a mature person has more duties, but I think it is more enjoyable to be able to decide for your life independently and to have the strength to identify good decisions from bad ones. In conclusion, adulthood might address entail more duties to for a person, but despite this fact, it is more pleasant to have the ability to live freely without being dependent to anyone else.
