nowadays young adults seem to prefer to spend their leisure time on shopping why do you think this is happening? do you think this is a positive or negative? In recent years, rather than shopping for daily needs people go shopping as kind of a hobby. Some state that this is great and the others believe this is not a proper hobby. As a result, it is always a controversial topic. First of all, people prefer shopping because it can refresh their minds. By going shopping you will be able to forget the things which burden you. For instance, young adults prefer to do the shopping after having the final examination. They will try to entertain themselves. At the same time shopping will have a direct effect on economy and government. In other word one of the undeniable factor in development of the country's economy is the purchase of domestic products especially private one. Without increasing in this indicator, there will be severe implications such as economic downturn and unemployment. As consequence, spending in buying products, even it is a hobby or not will indirectly help the economy. On the other hand, the fact that should be consider is that spending too much money and time on shopping leads to consumerism. Consumerism, in some ways, contributes to bad result and effects in society. There is more possibility to expend money on unnecessary products which leads to borrowing money from others for basic requirements. In addition to the mentioned ones, addiction to shopping lead to wasting time and forgetting the allocation of time to important things such as family, study, and sports activities, that are good for health. To sum up, having considered the discussion above, I believe it will always create both positive and negative impacts, but shopping habit can be useful if the shoppers expend their money wisely.
