Some people believe that children's leisure activities must be educational, otherwise they are a complete waste of time. Nowadays, in this rapidly progressing world, lots of parents might consider the secure future of their children entailed with either education or educationally related activities, whereas I strongly believe that having no spare intervals in order to freely enjoy the moments can even ruin the whole upcoming dreams. Parents’ concerns as to how a child's furture life could become guaranteed are all reasonable which adress why they are having such attitudes toward the issue. Firstly, in our society, barely can an uneducated person find a decent job. Secondly, in order to prevent any possible deviations, some parents might assume that education is the only safe and right path toward reaching goals. Although any of the reasons mentioned above are not wrong by no means, they cannnot debunk the notion of leisure activities from my point of view. Also, Since constant studying with no free time is relentless and frustrating, also they are sometimes found despondent. Moreover, children are to hone lots of their intellectual skills as well as physical ones more in extracurricular activities rather in classroom tasks. Kids, especially those of engrossed ones, take part in a kinesthetic game such as Treasure Hunt, thereby boosting up their abilities of problem solving and detective thinking. In addition, only the time they play team sports like football, are they able to improve the sense of emapthy and coopration as well as their body coordination. Therefore, those who call this a waste of time are living in denial, in my opinion. Nevertheless, if we as parents long for a prosperous furtue for our children, we must let them free to choose their leisure time activities. Otherwise, finding all tasks educationally controlled, kids might become more prone to come up with negative outcome which is not desirable by any parents.
