In many countries, children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it as valuable work experience, important for learning and taking responsibility While some may completely disagree children’s paid jobs, others, myself included, may consider it of value in their development and future life. Therefore, that children’s working is completely wrong cannot be totally claimed. Even it might not be right in all circumstances, though. Since the entrance of children in the professional world is inevitable, how beneficial would it be if they could acquire enough of knowledge and experience as well as peripheral responsibility is of importance. Consequently, parents and teachers might persuade children to undertake duties in some part-time jobs or other useful tasks as to learning benefits. As a result, many of a child would become able to place value on the earned money in comparison with the pocket money. Moreover, they are to learn that working means being no more depended on parents and honing the problem solving skills, hence becoming well prepared for a profession. Nevertheless, there still might be a vision of misusing, since some employers prefer hiring children instead, to pay less. In addition, some arduous and repetitive tasks such as working in a factory producing line are better to be discouraged because not only does not it teach them anything new, but it also is a waste of time. In such cases, the jobs are not valuable anymore, but rather some sort of exploitation that I entirely go against it. As far as it concerns the purpose of learning and developing skills, it would be beneficial for children to work, from my point of view. While turning into other purposes such as financial exploitations, we should be fully aware of the type of life perspective which we are characterizing for our children.
