some people believe that unpaid community service should be compulsory part of high school programs (for example working for charity, improving the neighborhood or teaching sports to younger children). to what extent do you agree or disagree? Every country needs people who show social commitment which can be taught during high school. It has been suggested that students go for mandatory free social service. This part should be considered as an opportunity of going to society and gaining experience. I think the merits of this argument is are more than the negative ones/demerits, and try to support my point in my essay. At the beginning, by doing these services students can learn many skills such as development of social empathy, team working and communication skills in students. They need these skills for today's life. when they want/wish/intend to run a charity, not only should they gather a team or become a member of group but also act on the team's decision and forget their personal ideas. During these aids/activitieshelps they can become familiar with society and can understand that everyone has his their own abilities . Besides, they learn not all rewards are not monetary, there are also other rewards like seeing happiness of other humans. for instance, what should they receive by helping an old man doing his home chores? In spite of the backlash against compulsory servicepart, Among them are some who are reluctant to do their social obligation, hence mandatory help part could help them to contribute to these activities at least one time. Although the mandatory part of programs may ruin their internal/intrinsic motivation for these actions, the whole benefits are more. had people of countries enrolled in these programs in the past, now they would have fewer expectations from their government and would have acted by themselves in facing social problems.
