Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Either traveling or working is the only reason which some individuals believe you are obliged to learn another language (for). On the contrary, another point of view claims that some more other causes exist to be bilingual. Whether the first party are in the right or the second one will be discussed below. On one side, some people emphasize on two only main purposes which are having a trip and doing a job abroad to strive for learning another language. They say had citizens spent any time to be taught foreign languages without one of the above two causes, they have not only wasted their time but also overwhelm their minds. In this regard, it seems spending time on excursion or expanding general knowledge is more rational than being bilingual. On the other hand, the others list lots of other objective to understand foreigners, for instance, if you try to comprehend another syntax you will be familiar with variety of cultures and ideologies. Moreover, it is similar to an exercise for mentality because when your brain has got involved with another language details as long as you are trying to acquire it, your brain’s useful life time period will be enhanced. A health care institute has recently done a comprehensive survey in this case in the USA that has shown the two-language speakers live almost five years more than the others in average./their monolingual counterparts Overall, in my opinion, learning another language expect for mother tongue is definitely necessary for all people over the world and I think governments are obliged to spend more money to make aware and encourage citizens for learning it.
