Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? When people solve problems as a group, they come up with better solutions that than if they were to try to solve the problem individually. “Humankind is a social being.” There is a complicated dispute among sociologists about this claim. Whether this is true or not, obviously, the majority of humankind chooses to live together for some reason. I think one of them could be the power of team working in problem solving as I explained below: First of all, people have lived various lives; therefore, they have encountered disparate circumstances that led them to some invaluable experiences. This simple fact, could be really useful when people get into troubles. When you ask others about an especial situation, actually you are gathering some data to solve the problem you have. For example, I have a friend who was really confused about marriage, so he started to ask us about it. I can remember when he was talking with a divorced friend of usours. The dialogue starts with this: “At least I can show you one of the misdirections!” Hence, he could reserve save his life by avoiding this experience. Secondly, I believe that ideas mature in dialogues. On the one hand, people can benefit from different points of view, when they join each othertogether. As a simple example, when I was trying to design my room’s ceiling oddly enough to enhance the poor light of it, an electrician told me there are were new light products which are were luminous several times more than what you have and we can replace them easily. On the other hand, this is the basis of criticism, otherwise there is no necessity in discussion. This aspect is more abstruse. Actually it refers to an evolutionary process which leads a thesis to perfection through its anti-thesis, like what is going on in knowledge. A good theory will be the ground of for discussion in for the sake of the novelty of newer ones. Like the birth of neostructuralists from the elders in order to explain how different powers play their roles in social life. To sum up, I can stand for the claim. Maybe constructing and keeping a group is really tough and turbulent, but the outcome is almost satisfying. This is what mankind have has chosen to do.
