Telegram is the most relevant social media platform in Iran. Most of the Iranians make use of it for their daily communications. Even it is even an area of financial relations and most of enterprises use it as a place of business. Even most of the Governmental organisations have access to Telegram as a means of communication with citizens. For instance, they publish guidelines for citizens in the specified channel and they build/create/make Bots for responding to the clients. Therefore, Telegram plays an important role in social relations and public services. Recently we hear about some concerns on provoking extremism via Telegrams.as there are some debates on blocking access to it .In regard to the importance of telegram in our daily life it does not seem reasonable to block access. As Another social media platforms will be substituted as the main means of communication with the similar problems. So the solution is to find a way of interaction with this company and compare the strategies of other countries in the same issues in order to recognise the best way of countering extremism in online areas. The first thing issue that should be taken into account is that Iran has to guarantee free flow of information so the social media platforms may rely on our programs about combating extremism in cyber space. Second, Iran should take into consideration on educating citizens about the best usages of social media platforms. So/therefore they may learn how to deal with the issues that endanger peace and security in the world. As the final conclusion, blocking access to social media platforms is not reasonable in combating issues which endanger peaceful function of societies.
