Some people think when a person travels into a different culture they should adapt to the local practices and customs. To what extent do you agree? The tourist industry has been a major area of interest concerned in many countries and these days a large amount of money is being invested in this matter. However, there are some conflicts that are going to existence occur when visitors enter to their destinations one of which is tourists could influence on local people in terms of behavior. Some people are of the opinion that tourists' culture should be welcomed by the host country. On the By contrary, others believe that it is incumbent on travelers to value the local traditions. To begin with, nowadays countries in all over the world compete with each other in attracting a myriad of tourists. The more tourists, the more prosperous economy would be. Thus, some people opine that we should provide a flexible atmosphere for travelers so that a country is able to attract more tourists. To illustrate, Islamic countries such as Turkey and Malaysia imposeing no obligation on to visitors to wearing conservative clothes. Above all, local people have a chance of meeting cultures of other parts of the world. On the flip side, the latter group argue that tourists should appreciate the host country's tradition. There have been instances where local people change their cuisine into international in order in order for visitors to feel comfortable. Therefore, this trend gradually leads to the disappearance of the original culture. In addition, tourists could be a serious threaten for the local youth. To exemplify, in some Islamic countries women should wear specific clothes and younger people may be influenced by the way that tourists wear. By way of conclusion, tourists always would like to visit locally intact customs. Hence, the host country should offer a potential for them to be free and by a proper strategy encourage them to follow their culture.
