Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement. Due to the high speed of accelerating civilization, the government has started focusing on providing people with well- equipped transportation systems. Some researchers assume that authorities had better allocate weigh way more larger budgets to building and repairing railways instead of roads. Proponents believe that trains cause less fewer detrimental effects on the environment. It means that this kind of transportation system releases fewer noxious fumes into the atmosphere. In addition, it is much more energy-efficient and consumes fewer lower quantitiesy of energies. What is more, the capacity of trains is higher and it they can transfer numerous people which is several times higher than that of cars. Not only do people who use cars suffer from congested traffic, but also they can notcannot be punctual. In other words, in terms of speed trains are really quite/relatively reliable because they transfer passengers based on an accurate plan and are completely on time. That enormous numbers of members of the public are extremely injured by car accidents is an undeniable fact. However, trains are a safe way to get to the destination. Opponents opine that individuals spend a lot money purchasing private vehicles. in fact, They want to travel in their own cars and spend time with their families. The duty of providing a suitable condition for cars such as roads is directly incumbent upon the government and they should not shirk this pivotal major responsibility because of others. To put in a nutshell, from my point of view, we cannot claim that neither cars nor trains are enough for transporting. we need both based on our goals. for example, our choice could be affected by the destination. If we want wish to go to the work place in on a daily basis, we should use trains and for travel days cars are is a lot more suitable.
