We no longer need to have animals in the zoos, so zoos should be closed. Do you agree or disagree? Zoos continue to be a controversial issue even now that they have evolved into national parks. There are strong attitudes in this regard. While a group of people are completely against zoos, a vast number of people and I endorse are of the idea about the existence of such places but with a novel approach. People opposed to the idea of animals in captivity, highlight the unnatural way in which where animals live in such places. For example, captive animals do not need to hunt and to raise their offspring. In addition, from anti-zoo lobby's point of view, psychological problems in captivity remain unanswered. A case in point is, some abnormal and typical behaviors with no obvious purpose which are widespread among animals. These stereotypical behaviors which are hardly seen in the wild are tied to some factors such as stress and obesity. Affected mentally by these factors, animals suffer physically even if their enclosure are is larger with compared to the past. What can be noted in this regard is longevity of elephants even in this situation of particular supervision in zoos which is approximately half that of the normal situation in the wild while scientists benchmark this criterion as a factor of animal welfare against the normal habitats. However, zoo enthusiasts believe that these places can be suitable not only on the level of animals but also on the level of individuals. These days zoos have been stapled to a family life and for people, it little matches the thrill of smelling wildlife in person. Going to the zoos with their parents, children can be taught about the wildlife and respect animal rights more than before. In terms of animals, human behaviour in nature is a as threat to animals, especially endangered ones. Associated with this issue national park can be a part of a unique system of protecting animals including habitat protection, breeding programs and disease control which leads to safeguarding of endangered species. Targeted and their reproduction undermined their reproduction in nature, condors are a sample of the captive breeding program which led to savinge these species from extinction. Lastly, the ever-growing population of humans and their needs to accommodation result in less fewer spaces for habitats of animals. This problem can be intensified when poaching and hunting are going to be prevalent among people. Hence, the necessity of zoos as secure and peaceful places for animals can be highlighted. In conclusion, although zoos's world can limit animals' freedom and affect their daily routine, I believe that with a new attitude to the zoos and better infrastructure such places can save animals' life and provide us with a proper situation to support them.
