Some people think that the main factors influencing a child's development these days are things such as television, friends, and music. Others believe that the family still remains more important. Discuss both opinions and give your opinion. Parents play a vital role in the way that their child grows up. However, many people believe that social factors outside of the family influence on children much more. This essay will examine both sides of the argument. It is undeniable that children are very easy to be impacted by what they watch and see. For example, if children watch a movie on TV, they might be deeply influenced by the main characters, and they would easily imitate those actions. In addition, they /children have access to the Internet compared with the past, and they play online computer games. Most of such games contain many images of kicking and killing that could impact on children's mind when they play with these kinds of video games. Furthermore, friends have an important influence on their peers so that they copy from their friends. They could have a positive or negative impression on children's behavior. On the other hand, families have the most important impact in the development of children. In early ages, children spend nearly all their time with their families at home. Therefore, parents play a significant roles in their nurture, confidence, skills and morals. In other words, parents have very important influence on the formation of personality of their children. From my point of view, both of these factors them are important. however, whereas today due to the advancements in the field technology, children spend a lot of time using them it because they are it is so attractive that they are be entertained by themwith. Moreover, these days most of parents both of them go to work, and they do not have enough time to spend time with their children. To As a result of escape from loneliness, they take refuge in other things/hobbies like the Internet and TV. In conclusion, although both social factors and the family have a certain influence on a child's progress, the effect of computer games and friends on children is serious, and should be considered.
