Each year, the crime rate increases. What are the causes of crime and what could be done to prevent this rise in criminal activity? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. The Staggering Increase in the crime rate causes more difficulties for societies, then of course we feel society has let us down. That is why governments are determined to tackle crime and make every effort their efforts for either preventing or reducing it to have a safe and law-abiding legal environment. To this end, we should notice this issue from different aspects. First of all we should consider our children. Not only should are they be knowledgeable person, but also we should educate them to be honest, respectful to others especially if their opinions ' are opposite to have responsible manners with others and behave kindly in social sociable positions and more importantly being lawful legal people person in all situations. Furthermore, Cultural measures such as strengthening family values have an effective impact in nurturing children. In the next level, although convicted criminals should serve a sentence of years in prison, we should treat them fairly. It means that, we should eliminate any kind of discrimination and provide equal opportunities for all people who require either a job or social participation. Committing crimes usually happens because of family breakdown, deprived families and in countryside. The more miserable lethargic the family life, the more serious crimes will happen.higher committed serious offences/hardened criminal. Another important social issue that governments are faced with is helping people who live in suburbs or providing facilities or places for them not to waste their times or being in streets aimlessly, or even disturbing people. In a nut shell, governments should do everything in their power to combat crime, whether it is petty crime or more serious offences. If governments invest in education, educating system or provide ing facilities or create ing counselling consultant centers, the crime rate will be reduced dramatically and all of us know prevention is better than cure. easier and better than treatment.
