In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this. However, there are some demerits in this issue which must be considered. First and foremost, the advocates of such an attitude are strongly of the opinion that acquiring experimental knowledge is a paramount advantage of this issue. employing and traveling not only give students the opportunity to put turn their theoretical knowledge into practice practical one, but also broaden their horizons toward life as well as giving them a clear perspective of what they are hoping to do with their lives. They are taught how to cooperate with diverse groups of people with different characteristics. Furthermore, earning money makes them economically independent. Owing to the fact that it is not imperative for to everyone to have an academic qualification and a society requires technicians as well as engineers and medical professionals, involving in labor markets and traveling give students the opportunities to develop/hone their skills and aptitudes. In the second place, the opponents of this issue assert/assess that a break from studying after graduating from high school leaves an educational gap. In this situation occasion the required preparation for obtaining academic lessons will perish and they may end up never returning to an academic environment. Besides, the joy of making money and independency can be considered as the other obstacles. Right manners of spending money have not been usually taught to most of the adolescents, as a consequence, it probably leads to over spending which is dangerous. To sum up, despite the probable unintended consequences which might take place as a result of educational gap, the strengths of this attitude are highlighted enough to overshadow its weaknesses.
