Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? In this day and age we observed the world around of us are becoming much more similarity to each other in a some variety of aspects. In fact we are close to each other at the expense of losing some local concerns. Local languages are one of the main ones. Some say the processes has some benefits but others have some reasons by which they reject it. The essay deals with argument boons and bane (drawbacks) this topic. From my point of view, modern technologies lead render people who live throughout the world to become similar. It means that process of globalization leads to unifying all of things from subtle materials factors like dress, furniture, electricality tools to until some social skills and kinds of behavior. In my opinion, language plays a pivotal role in this process. People can understand each other with words. Throughout the history we observed innumerous cases of misunderstanding because of different languages. Ironically some of them cause wars to start war between two countries because I think language comprises some words and millions of concepts. Undeniably, the less kinds of languages, the less both misunderstanding and some social problems. Citing an example, European countries are a good example where nations constantly had been in the war over the last century. Furthermore, not only does a common language bring about/cause to better more comprehend understanding among people and altruism but also it leads to doing business on an equal footing in the world. However, needless to say that this issue has some disadvantages as well. One of the obvious issues is that some valuable meaning which what they hides behind words gradually erodes erosion. It means that although a common language is are of great benefit to both business and social relationships, it is the breeding grounds for of disappearing of some part of local tradition and culture. Personally speaking, people drift apart from their local cultures and the new language instills a new meaning which some of which them could be useful and the other ones could cause a to decrease in some unique worthy feelings namely, the sense of patriotism. In conclusion, a common language has lots of potential benefits, but it can be harmful for the local culture. They can be used side by side if people try to preserve and respect their tradition and valuable voluble concept besides of a new language. Sepideh
