Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children? Moral issues are fundamental ones that should be fostered from childhood. There has been much discussion revolving around whether penalties are essential to teach the difference between right and wrong or not. I would argue that light punishments can help parents to force children to obey moral rules but they should be proportionate with their misbahavioursmisbehaviors. The first step to prepare children to enter society is to teach them the vital importance of moral values. By enhancing their knowledge teachers and parents can demonstrate them the consequences of each behavior. There are an overwhelming amount number of various sources such as novels and movies which are tailored to children's need for to knowing about virtues. However, children will face the dilemma of choosing between right and wrong in their daily life. Without a punishment, they are less likely to wholeheartedly realize the drawbacks of choosing the wrong path and those consequences which they are already informed of could be just some theories that they have to learn. While punishments have benefits for nurturing a child, parents and teachers should be aware of the repercussions of their punishments. Children especially little ones are at a very sensitive age, thereby thus being fragilesentimental and vulnerable. A corporal punishment could damage a child's self-esteem and have a devastating effect on their his mental health. Some penalties, however albeit effective, are not necessarily severe ones ranging from banning from playing with their peers or withdrawing their privileges. Imposing these kinds of punishments, parents and teachers can stimulate the consequences of misconducts for children which are the solitude and isolation in society. In addition, teachers can give the wrongdoers assignments in which they have to survey about moral issues and give a lecture about them. In conclusion, although punishments can deter children from behaving badly, severe ones could leave a negative impression on them.

جهت مشاهده Writing تصحیح شده فایل PDF را دانلود نمایید.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age.
